Media Converters

Media Converter is an exchange unit of Ethernet transmission media conversion between the short distance twisted pair electrical signals and the long distance optical signals. They are generally used in the actual network environment which is not covered by Ethernet cable and you must use optical fiber to extend the transmission distance, and usually located in the broadband MAN access layer applications.
